Description:
This tutorial is for researchers who use python to develop tools and methods, and wish to make them more accessible to the community. The tutorial will not focus on coding style and patterns, but on the documentation and packaging process.
Objective: Learn to develop a python package from scratch using these tools:
– Track changes with git
– Create documentation with sphinx
– Create package with setuptools
– Upload to pypi with twine
Prerequisites: basic python knowledge, laptop with internet access, GitHub account
Duration: 60 minutes
